Since I already mentioned most of my travel plans won't be coming to fruition for quite some time, I thought I would kick things off by talking about the few places I should be going to in the near future (provided everything goes as planned).
First up - Harrison Hotsprings, BC. My boyfriend is hoping to take me here for my birthday this winter. It's a remote place in BC, known for it's natural hot springs and it's spa resort. This is a place I have always wanted to go to, but never had the chance to visit. My mum used to go up with my Nana and Grandad when she was little, and I have heard nothing but good things about the resort.
Second - Mile High Lodge, BC. This getaway place is up near 100 Mile House in BC, and is a place I used to frequent as a child. It's surrounded by nature, and is a great place for fishing and boating. I'm hoping to go up with my boyfriend, my best friend, and my best friend's soon-to-be husband.
Third - Las Vegas, Nevada. While I'm not a gambler, I'm curious to see Vegas because of it's night life, and bright lights. My family is talking about going for my brother's twenty-first birthday this summer. I've never been before, but it sounds like quite the adventure.
Fourth - California. I don't know for sure if this is going to happen, but I've been meaning to get out to California to visit a large group of friends. I was hoping to go this year, but wasn't able to, because of my job situation at the time. I've never been to California, but I hear it's beautiful!
As for my first big destination, I'm still trying to decide where it should be to.

Introduction
To get this thing started, I suppose I should give a proper introduction, shouldn't I?
My name is Ally, I'm twenty-three years old, and just getting back my sense of self identity. Through my recent soul searching, I have found a yearning for travel. I'd like to travel all over, both in my country, and in other countries.
This blog is going to start out with me talking about the places I want to see, as well as why I want to go there. I am going to be fully open to suggestions on places to visit as well, so don't be shy about letting me know if there are places you think I need to consider.
Obviously, I intend to travel to these places eventually, and when I do, I intend to do travel blogs, talking about my experiences wherever I travel (whether inside Canada, or in other countries). I fully admit that this is going to be a slow starting blog, as I have to pay down my debt before I am able to travel to other countries, but I hope that others might find it interesting to read about my research into other places, and maybe even be motivated to travel themselves.
As of now, I have only ever travelled within Canada and the United States, but I am hoping to explore all different parts of the world. I hope that you will enjoy taking this journey with me.
